Jan heads the Belgian Legal Operate practice at Deloitte Legal. He has 20 years of experience working as an in house lawyer for the Belgian Government and as an attorney in private practice. With a focus on people, processes and technology, the Legal Operate team builds, implements and operates data-driven solutions to optimize legal operations for clients across various industries.
Drawing on his experience as the founder and managing partner of a boutique law firm, as well as his training in Innovation, Legal Project Management and Lean Six Sigma, Jan is driving transformational change to improve legal service delivery for his clients. He became more and more passionate about “new law” developments including legal operations, technology and staffing, which are now his main focus at Deloitte Legal.
