About

Christophe Vervoort

Christophe is an IT architect with over 15 years’ experience in the sector. He specialises in complex solution implementations within the Life Sciences and Financial Services sectors. He combines a Master’s degree in Business Economics (KU Leuven, 2008) with an Executive Master’s in Business & IT Management (Antwerp Management School, 2019) to link technical solutions directly to business objectives.

As co-founder of Legile, Christophe is the driving force behind the architecture of Legile OneView, an intelligent platform for the legal sector. In his current work, the focus is on:

● Sovereign AI: Building AI assistants that utilise European language models and local data storage to comply with strict privacy and information security frameworks.

● Architecture & Integration: Designing OneView as a central system for contracts, compliance and legal knowledge.

● Process optimisation: Using the ArchiMate methodology to make legal processes scalable for SaaS and tech companies.

Christophe takes a down-to-earth, pragmatic approach: technology is a means, not an end in itself. Whilst major players focus on generic AI via APIs, Christophe emphasises deep integration into the client’s workflow. His vision is that the real value lies in the combination of domain knowledge (DPO/AI Governance) and a model where AI support is always combined with human validation by experts (human-in-the-loop).
